'rug-tack' is Sponsor to Miss Josie Moore, a very promising British Eventing rider, riding teacher and her horses: Josie Moore competing 'Macquino'
...well, what a year 2010 it has been!...updated 07.01.2011Lilac has got a beautyful brown filly at foot by Bandmaster and she is in foal again to him, expecting birth at the end of May 2011. George (Macquino) has been sold to a lovely young lady rider in Plymouth...and we hear that he is doing well and is being spoil!. Pittyless has changed his career from National Hunt Racing to Eventing and has just completed his first ever ODE. Josie is still taking things very slowly with him and not running all 3 disciplines at once when entered, we don't want to overphase him, yet. Josie has been teaching at Pony Club Camps, Pony Club Rallies and given private lessons all summer. She enjoys teaching a lot and we had individual kids text and ring to ask if she will teach them again. It looks like she has got a bit of a fan-club out there! Pixi is now coming up to 3 years and she is growing like a runner bean plant...at this rate we have just had to upgrade our old Ifor Williams trailer to the new HB 511 for her to travel in. Just as well we have changed trailer to a 'bigger' one, as Josie has just bought herself an 'bit of fun'. A 16.3hh Irish Thoroughbred horse 'HOWYA CHUCK'. He has just gone back to University with Josie and Pittyless for the spring term. Both will be entered in the JAS series this spring under BE rules and we are looking forward to supporting them! Missy, the little filly, is now halter trained and is showing off some very good sprinting efforts. We think she might like to become a Showjumper, specializing in fast jump offs! Josie is in her 2nd term of her 2nd year of UWE at Hartpury for her 'Equestrian Business Management' studies and Pittyless & Chuck will be staying with her to help her with the ridden modules on the course as well as being kept fit and produced for eventing.
